Announcing the 2025 Municipal Community Grant Recipients

See the full list of recipients below and learn more about the activities they'll be carrying out in 2025 and 2026!

The County Foundation is thrilled to celebrate the recipients of the Municipal Community Grants program.

The Municipal Community Grants are financial or in-kind assistance that support Community Organizations providing programs, services or activities that enhance the quality of life for Prince Edward County residents. The Municipal Community Grants Program is made possible through funding from the County of Prince Edward in partnership with The County Foundation (TCF), which administers the program.

The purpose of the grants are to improve the well-being and quality of life of the community and its residents, through financial assistance to not-for-profit and community based organizations which provide programs and services in culture, heritage, recreation, environment, and health & human services. The municipal community grant intends to support the work of community organizations across Prince Edward County that benefit a wide cross section of residents.

"The Municipal Community Grants program plays a vital role in strengthening our community by supporting a diverse range of organizations — from health to recreation to heritage and the environment. This year marked an exciting new chapter for the program, introducing innovative changes such as operational funding and multi-year commitments. These enhancements are designed to offer more stability and flexibility for recipients, empowering local organizations to focus on what they do best: making our community a better place for everyone."Gillian Armstrong, Interim Executive Director of The County Foundation

"Community events and activities ignite spirit in residents and guests alike and make Prince Edward County the special place that it is," says Mayor Steve Ferguson. "We are proud to support these initiatives through the Municipal Community Grants Program."Steve Ferguson, Mayor of Prince Edward County
