Granting Catalogue

The County Foundation has created a Granting Catalogue that highlights a selection of local charities making a meaningful difference across Prince Edward County. Organizations are grouped by sector to help you explore and support the causes that matter most to you.

Our listings are informed by publicly available information from Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), along with our own knowledge and insight into the evolving needs and opportunities within our community. While not exhaustive, this curated selection reflects a broad range of impactful work happening locally.

Important information on catalogue: At this time, The County Foundation can only direct grants to organizations that are recognized as qualified donees as defined by the Income Tax Act such as a registered charities. For this reason, some valued community groups and initiatives may not appear in this catalogue. We recognize and appreciate the important contributions of these organizations.

We created this catalogue as an internal resource to support donors and build awareness of local charities. While we strive to be comprehensive, information may evolve, and we encourage further research and ongoing conversations with our staff to stay up to date about current community needs and local organizations and projects. This is a living document that we will continue to update.

Credit Card - Canada Helps

Donate using a credit card through Canada Helps.

Interac e-Transfer

We can accept Interac e-Transfers sent to info@thecountyfoundation.ca. Please indicate which fund you wish to contribute to in the note section.

Cheques

The County Foundation can accept donations by cheque mailed to their office. Make cheques payable to The County Foundation, and use the memo line to specify the Fund if applicable.

If you wish to donate foreign exchanges ($100 or more) to this Fund, or TCF, please contact DOminique Jones, Excecutive Director, at ed@thecountyfoundation.cato make arrangements. Tax receipts provided on the converted value in Canadian Dollars.
