Local Farmer Larry Reynolds Establishes New Fund to Give Back to the Community

The County Foundation is pleased to announce the establishment of the Larry Reynolds Fund, a new donor advised fund named after the local farmer.

Larry Reynolds is part of a multi-generational farming family here in Prince Edward County and has created this fund to be able to give back to the community that has given him so much.

Larry grew up in the County and has spent all his life on fields, on tractors, farming. He has an extensive family, with 5 siblings, 18 nieces and nephews, 39 great-nieces and nephews, 69 great-great nieces and nephews, and 20 great-great-great nieces and nephews – and counting!

Through this fund, annual disbursements will support four local organizations that hold meaning to Larry. This includes Emmanuel Baptist Church in Bloomfield, Loyalist Humane Society, Sonrise Christian Academy, and the Regent Theatre. This ongoing support will help strengthen the community and continue a legacy of generosity for years to come.

“We are honoured to support Larry in establishing this meaningful fund. While he’s known as a co-owner of Reynolds Farm, which has demonstrated their own generosity within the community, this is personal to Larry, and we are grateful to help bring his vision to life and facilitate the positive impact this fund will have for years to come.
Gillian Armstrong, Interim Executive Director of The County Foundation
